About Stamford Gives Back- The performing arts define a community in many ways. Supporting and encouraging the performing arts is the focus of Stamford Gives Back Association, a non-profit organization created by Maureen Pavia. The youth of Stamford have opportunities to expand their artistic ambitions but oftentimes do not have the means to accomplish this ambition. Stamford Gives Back, through fund raising and community support, distributes grants to local theatre, dance companies and artists who have made an impact, and who continue to demonstrate by example that we have a responsibility to inspire future artists.
