Stamford Center for the Arts, and indeed, the City of Stamford have made a long standing commitment to the arts. Some may ask why?
In Stamford, the arts is the economic engine that drives the downtown, its development and growth. Last season alone, SCA hosted more than 500 events, of
which we presented 200 stage performances, and attracted more than 250,000 patrons to downtown Stamford!
SCA's mission - dedicated to being the region's premier destination for world-class entertainment, fostering outstanding educational and
outreach programs, and operating state-of-the-art facilities - was spearheaded by local corporations to ultimately enrich the quality of people's lives where
it counts - at home where they live and work. These initiatives are only possible through the generous support of our patrons, contributors and especially
our Corporate and Foundation Partners.
